Michael Hood, Director. Mike founded Vertical Ventures with the idea of developing a way to share his interest and enthusiasm for the outdoors with others.

Louis the Dog. Louis is an integral part of our programs. A highly-tuned safety expert, he is always alert to potential dangers lurking nearby. Like our ancestors, we feel that Louis is an integral part of our outdoor experiences as well as part of the family.
